Doug Davenport, photographer, combines his experience behind the camera with his knowledge of animal behavior to capture memorable images you can cherish. He has found that pets cooperate and relax best if photographed in familiar surroundings – so “have camera will travel” to your home or favorite park or beach. No worries because even the smallest or darkest space will work with the portable backdrop and light system he brings to your home.
It’s important to Doug that clients and pets alike have fun with the photo shoot. Doug will jump around, play with toys, give treats or do whatever else it takes to get that “aha” expression. Complete satisfaction is guaranteed so if your pet is having an “off day”, the shoot will be rescheduled at no additional charge.
Doug has worked for 30 years as a Realtor on the Monterey Peninsula. After studying with the New York Institute of Photography and taking photographic seminars and college level Photoshop classes, he has chosen to pursue his love of animals and photography as a co-owner of pawsnclaws Photography. Doug lives in Monterey with his wife, Kristen and their Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Luna.
